Complaints mount as Google Fiber extends its reach in Kansas City

Emails to City Hall, obtained by The Star after a public records request, reflect the frustration some Kansas City homeowners feel about the disruptions created as the company installs its fiberoptic lines that provide high-speed Internet access and cable TV. City officials give Google high marks for pressuring its contractors to make right when things go wrong.
