Research College of Nursing announced Tuesday it had appointed Thad Wilson to be its new president.

Wilson was previously interim dean and executive associate dean at the University of Iowa College of Nursing. According to a Research College of Nursing news release, his career also includes stints as associate dean of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies and clinical director for the Pediatric Care Clinic of Children’s Mercy Hospital.
