Virgin Mobile USA takes up space in One Kansas City Place, but no lease yet
Virgin Mobile USA, the prepaid wireless company under Sprint, has found its office space in downtown Kansas City’s tallest skyscraper.
The company has taken up what a spokesman calls “temporary office space” in One Kansas City Place at 12th and Main streets.
Justin Scott, spokesman for Virgin Mobile USA, said the company is working out of One Kansas City Place without a lease. He wouldn’t confirm where the company would ultimately end up, or if it planned on staying put at 12th and Main.
Various job postings for Virgin Mobile USA list One Kansas City Place as its office location.
Virgin Mobile USA announced earlier this year that it would move to downtown Kansas City, bringing along 50 employees.
The move downtown appeared to be part of Sprint’s effort to rejuvenate the Virgin Mobile brand.
