Logistics Park in Edgerton, Kan., starts 300-acre expansion
The 1,700-acre Logistics Park, a freight distribution center in Edgerton, Kan., is now bigger by 300 acres.
ColdPoint Logistics has broken ground on a new cold storage distribution facility in an expanded area of the intermodal industrial park served by BNSF Railway.
ColdPoint is an affiliate of NorthPoint Development, the master developer of Logistics Park. It’s the first tenant in the new North Park expansion.
The company’s 163,318-square-foot building is planned to be operational by August 2017 to handle perishable foods.
NorthPoint said the expansion has sites available for up to 3.4 million square feet of rail-served space.
