New shops for Overland Park’s Oak Park Mall
The Art of Shaving is coming to Oak Park Mall.
According to mall officials, the chain will open a store on the upper level next to American Eagle Outfitters in early 2014.
Officials with the Art of Shaving did not return phone calls.
The Art of Shaving was created in 1996 to offer men high quality shaving products and accessories, along with advice on proper grooming techniques.
Other news for Oak Park Mall, at 95th Street and Quivira Road in Overland Park:
• Build-A-Bear Workshop will reopen its store under a new, more interactive design on Nov. 15.
At the “Love Me” station customers will be able to add “personality traits” like brave, silly or smart to their stuffed animals.
At the “Hear Me” station they can add sounds including music or even their own voice.
At the “Name Me” station they can create a unique birth certificate for their new “furry friend.”
• Torrid, a trendy plus size clothing store, plans to open later this month on the upper level next to Hollister Co.
