Boveri Realty applauds four new apartment complexes
Christina Boveri, who has championed urban living for more than a decade, is excited about four new apartment developments that are coming on board this year. All are in popular areas for those who want to live where they work and play, stretching from the River Market to South Plaza, and each has its own ambiance and appeal.
Boveri, owner of Boveri Realty Group, has long helped people find the right homes, condos and townhomes to buy in the urban core, but her company also has a leasing division ready to assist renters in finding exactly the right place to call home, whether in an apartment complex, a condo or a home. Boveri carefully researches all of the available leases so she can best serve her clients and she is especially happy to be able to assist them in leasing these new ventures — Centropolis on Grand, Power & Light Apartments, Twenty9 Gillham and 51 Main.
Centropolis on Grand
Centropolis on Grand, at 501 Grand Boulevard and just across the street from City Market, is under construction and will be completed in October, according to Justin Cottrell. The architecture of the building will blend well with those surrounding it in River Market and offers an incredible opportunity for those who want to live in the area.
Centropolis offers just 56 units, including 52 one-bedroom apartments that will rent for $1,330 to $1,565, and four two-bedroom units designed for roommates that will rent for $2,186. Residents will enjoy the use of a courtyard terrace on the second floor offering sweeping views of downtown, as well as outdoor tables, grills and lounge chairs. Apartments also have balconies. Garage parking is available on the first floor of the building and the trolley will stop right outside the door.
Residents just have to cross the street to purchase produce in the Farmers Market at City Market or to enjoy the restaurants, ethnic grocery stores and boutique shops there. They are an easy stroll away from unique restaurants and entertainment scattered throughout the River Market area.
Those interested in Centropolis can pre-lease now and move in when construction is completed.
Power & Light Apartments
The historic, art deco Power & Light Building at 14th and Baltimore is being converted into more than 210 luxury apartments while the complex will include an adjacent building where an additional 81 apartments wrap the four-story, 500-unit parking garage.
Service will be a key component of these apartments and will include valet trash, concierge, room and maid service through Hotel President. A dedicated wellness area features a more than 2,000-square-foot fitness center, juice bar, media gallery, meditation room, indoor hot tub, sauna, red-light therapy and massage.
Residents also will enjoy the rooftop Beacon Lounge with a bar, wine lockers and 360-degree views from the rooftop patio. The rooftop pool area will have large open decks, a grilling area, an outdoor theater, hot tub and saltwater pool.
Guaranteed reserved private parking is available in the controlled-access garage with a skywalk to the historic tower. Climate-controlled storage units and bike storage are available.
Residents will enter the tower building through the ornate two-story grand lobby space that is rich with art deco ornamentation. Marble and granite form an impressive canvas for the decorative plaster moldings and custom white metalwork of the foyer.
Each apartment will have high-end finishes including hardwood flooring, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The one- or two-bedroom apartments can include a den, terrace or both.
The prime location is within an easy walk of the Music Hall, the Folly Theater, Bartle Hall and the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. It borders its namesake Power & Light District.
Those interested in reserving a space in the Power & Light Apartments may pre-lease now. The building will be open for tours this summer and is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
Twenty9 Gillham
Twenty9 Gillham in the Midtown Longfellow neighborhood opened earlier this month. As it’s name indicates, it’s at 29th and Gillham, a trendy area within walking distance of popular restaurants and bars.
This 22-unit boutique complex has a contemporary design by KEM Studio and was built by UB-C Properties, which also built the adjacent Gillham Park Row.
Twenty9 Gillham offers eight one-bedroom units on the first floor of the three-story building that are specifically designed for those seeking live-and-work space. The upper floors offer 14 generously sized two-bedroom, two-bath units with outdoor porches, according to developer John Hoffman. Every apartment has a washer and dryer and secure parking is behind the building. Large picture windows in the front and back offer city views that include Crown Center.
One-bedroom apartments start at $1,025 and two-bedrooms start at $1,400.
Twenty9 Gillham is within walking distance to Crown Center, Hospital Hill and many restaurants such as the Filling Station, Teocali and Succotash and the bars and restaurants at Martini Corner. Also within walking distance is the Crown Center shopping complex. A 25,000-square-foot grocery store is expected to be built within a two-minute drive. Several fitness centers are in the neighborhood, as are Home Depot and Costco. Two bus lines stop within a block.
51 Main
The new 51 Main apartments opened in February just south of the Country Club Plaza. Here you will find a mix of floor plans that include studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and two-bedroom with study units. Monthly rent starts at $1,195 and goes up to $3,095.
Residents enjoy a full amenities package that includes a 24-hour fitness room, a clubroom and wireless cafe. The multi-level courtyard offers a saltwater infinity pool, fire pit, grills, big screen TV and bar area.
Two restaurants are planned on the first floor of the building.
51 Main is in the trendy and eclectic South Plaza neighborhood near a variety of restaurants and entertainment. It is a short stroll from the Country Club Plaza, where residents will enjoy even more restaurants, bars, shopping and a variety of festivals.
