Cocky Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor is bringing his game to “Game of Thrones,” but he might have to leave his trash talk at home.

UFC president Dana White has confirmed that McGregor has been cast for the show, which is filming season seven in locations around the world, including Belfast, Northern Ireland, for a summer 2017 debut on HBO.

“I did hear that and I knew that a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show. I’m glad he did it. It will be great,” White told FOX Sports Live last week.

“The show’s huge, it’s awesome, and I’m excited for him.”

A source tells Game of Thrones fan site Watchers on the Wall that McGregor will make a small cameo as a pirate belonging to Euron Greyjoy’s crew on the ship Silence.

McGregor recently won the UFC Lightweight Title at an event in Madison Square Garden in New York but was dropped from the rankings against his will from a different weight class by the UFC even though no one had challenged him for the title.

Mixed martial arts fighters say the UFC exploits them, and they are turning to Congress for help.

Meanwhile, McGregor got a boxing license in California for a potential bout with undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather.

The MMA star is known for his arrogance and constant banter, but he reportedly will not speak for this part. In fact, in the books the crew members of the ship have had their tongues cut out. Thus the ship’s name.

However, some fans hope that McGregor is in for a fight with the Mountain. Last year, video of McGregor sparring with Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, the huge, superstrong actor who plays the Mountain, went viral.

The Mountain’s last fight was with Oberyn Martell. The Mountain crushed Martell’s skull but was felled by a stab wound.

Now, thanks to Cersei Lannister, the Mountain is back back from the dead as a very large zombie of sorts, and one thing’s for sure. There will be a fight.
