Chiefs’ Travis Kelce will bring his ‘Catching Kelce’ finale to KC

Next week’s season finale of “Catching Kelce” should show plenty of Kansas City.

In that two-hour episode, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce takes the four finalists vying for his love on a trip here to see how they fit into his life.

Those KC scenes were shot by Vision Digital Cinema, whose owners, Mike and Chantal Savage, say they helped come up with the idea for the show. The firm will host a free finale watch party at Tapcade, 1701 McGee St. The Savages, some of their crew and a producer on the show will attend.

In case you haven’t been watching since the show debuted last month, this past week’s episode should give you an idea of what it’s like:

Kelce gave the women a day of arts and crafts. “This year in Kansas City, I have a charity event coming up,” he told them. “I’m going to auction off a painting.” Although he usually commissions a piece from a local artist, he said, he asked the contestants to create a work of art together.

They joined Kelce in grabbing paint and splattering it on a giant canvas. When it didn’t turn out as planned, they took turns rolling around in it, then throwing paint at each other. They decided to wash off together by jumping in the pool, with Kelce taking his shirt off (gasp!) for the first time.

The finale will air at 8 p.m. Wednesday on E! network.
