Jack Sock's run in the doubles competition at Wimbledon continued Thursday.

Sock, who played in high school at Blue Valley North, and Vasek Pospisil of Canada beat second-seeded Alexander Peya of Austria and Bruno Soares of Brazil 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 in the quarterfinals.

The key for Sock and Pospisil was limiting mistakes and being good on their first serve.

Sock and Pospisil had just seven unforced errors and got in 67 percent of their first serves (77 of 115). They won 83 percent of those points (64 of 77).

Up next for Sock and Pospisilis is a semifinal match against fifth-seeded Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek. The other semifinal will match Americans Bob and Mike Bryan, former members of the Kansas City Explorers who are the top seed, against 12th-seeded Michael Llodra and Nicolas Mahut.
