Blue Valley North grad Jack Sock and partner Vasek Pospisil won’t repeat as Wimbledon men’s doubles champions.

Sock and Pospisil, seeded No. 3, came back from two sets down to force a fifth set before falling 6-3, 7-6 (8-6), 6-7 (5-7), 3-6, 8-6 to the No. 13-seeded team of John Peers and Jamie Murray in the third round.

It was a particularly long day for Pospisil, who played two five-set matches on Monday. Earlier in the day, he beat No. 22 seed Viktor Troicki 4-6, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 in the men’s singles fourth round.

Sock was eliminated in the first round by Sam Groth in the men’s singles last week.
