Some Northwest Missouri football players will display GPA on their helmets
Gotta say: This is pretty cool.
The Northwest Missouri State football team kicks off its 2016 season on Thursday night at Emporia State. And some of the players will have a special sticker on their helmets, one that celebrates what they do in the classroom.

That particular helmet has the name of Northwest Missouri assistant professor Tyler Tapps, who clearly endorsed the move.
Boom! Although that is my name. The kids in the helmets do the work. Every Student, Every Day! https://t.co/4BHMCxutLq
