Royals’ Lorenzo Cain flashes huge smile after scoring from first on a single
Royals fans no doubt were smiling while their team pushed eight runs across the plate during the sixth inning of Sunday night’s game in Boston.
The outburst made the Royals players feel like smiling, too.
The final run came when Lorenzo Cain dashed home from first base on a single. As he slid across the plate, Cain flashed those pearly whites. It was a cool moment (and captured by user #KCMagicNumber):
Cain’s run gave the Royals a 10-4 lead as the team erased a deficit with a big inning. Was Cain’s smile from a sense of relief? Or joy? Maybe both.
It happened in a flash, but many Royals fans noticed.
That smile from Cain. #Royals
