Danny Duffy’s game score on Monday was a perfect 100.
Duffy struck out 16 and allowed just one hit in eight innings as the Royals downed the Rays 3-0 in St. Petersburg, Fla. It was the most strikeouts ever by a Royal and the most in Tropicana Field history.
It was just the 47th time in Major League Baseball history that a pitcher had 16 or more strikeouts with one walk or less.
The love from Royals fans flowed on social media.
