I suppose if you are a restaurant, hotel or grocery store that made it on this list, then you’re still relevant with kids these days.

The Waco Tribune-Herald reported that someone at Baylor made a sign with a list of new business coming to Waco at a recruiting event over the weekend.

The list includes Whole Foods, In-N-Out Burger, Potbelly and Omni Hotels.

“I think somebody just decided to throw speculation on a board and call it a poster,” Baylor Associate Athletics Director Nick Joos told the Tribune-Herald.

OK, then.

“Everything Waco is important to Baylor, especially when you’re recruiting 18- to 22-year-olds,” Joos told the Tribune-Herald.

The Waco newspaper reported that some of the businesses on the list had expressed interest previously in coming to Waco, but none have said they are opening there.
