Royals mascot expertly trolls Mr. Met
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed it this season, but Sluggerrr has been wearing a mascot-version of a 2015 World Series ring.
It’s kind of a nice touch, don’t you think? Well, Sluggerrr brought his ring to the All-Star Game in San Diego where he took part in a team photo with other mascots.
This may be purely coincidental, but Sluggerrr was right next to Mr. Met, the mascot for the New York team that lost to the Royals last fall. Sluggerrr showed no chill as he showed off the ring:

Yep that ring is right in Mr. Met’s face. Whoof.
That didn’t go unnoticed among Royals fans, who gave Sluggerrr a thumbs up (does Sluggerrr even have thumbs?).
