Take a look at photos of Eric Hosmer and Salvador Perez through the years

The Star’s Rustin Dodd wrote two great stories from San Diego ahead of Tuesday night’s All-Star Game.

I encourage you to read both the story on Ted Simmons’ influence on Royals manager Ned Yost, and the look back at when first baseman Eric Hosmer and catcher Salvador Perez first met.

Having seen some of the photos from their younger years, I decided to aggregate some of them here. Most are from The Star’s John Sleezer, and a few are from Instagram. I think they’re all pretty cool, and there will be more photos and memories made after they both play in the Midsummer Classic at Petco Park on Tuesday night.
