Royals catcher Salvador Perez is so quick that even umpires can’t get out of his way when he’s trying to field a ball.

During the Royals’ 4-2 win over the Cardinals on Thursday, St. Louis pitcher Mike Leake attempted a bunt, but the ball was popped up into foul ground. Perez found he couldn’t get to the ball because his path was blocked by home-plate umpire Mike Everitt.

OK, Perez probably wouldn’t have gotten to the ball, but it did make for a comedic moment during the game.
