Jason Pierre-Paul shows hand that was injured in fireworks accident in new PSA

A year ago, New York Giants defensive lineman Jason Pierre-Paul had a life-altering accident involving fireworks.

Pierre-Paul’s right hand was severely injured in the accident. On Thursday, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission released a public-service announcement, reminding people of the dangers of fireworks ahead of the holiday weekend.

It stars starring Pierre-Paul, who shows what fireworks did to his hand last year on the Fourth of July.
