Here is the play in which Royals’ Lorenzo Cain was injured
Man, it’s been a weird year for the Royals.
Long winning streaks, long losing streaks and a boatload of injuries. The latest to go down was center fielder Lorenzo Cain, who was trying to beat a throw to first base against the St. Louis Cardinals at Kauffman Stadium.
Cain stretched for the bag and quickly grabbed his left leg. After the game, manager Ned Yost told reporters Cain had a hamstring strain.
