Salvador Perez dons catcher's mask in dugout after Eric Hosmer loses his bat

It’s been quite a week for Royals catcher Salvador Perez — and it’s only Wednesday.

Perez clubbed a two-run homer with two outs in the eighth inning on Tuesday and helped the Royals beat the Indians 3-2.

On Monday night, Perez provided some comic relief as the Royals topped Cleveland 2-1. Eric Hosmer lost control of his bat and it flew into the dugout. Perez took precautionary actions:
