NFL’s Twitter account is hacked, announces Roger Goodell is dead (he’s not)
If it can happen to the NFL, it can happen to you.
On Tuesday, the NFL’s Twitter account was hacked and offered some somber news:
I assume the NFL Twitter account just got hacked. pic.twitter.com/FbrS9zcKPB

OK, it wasn’t true and the NFL deleted the tweet. But the hackers stayed after it for a while.

The hackers hit around the lunch hour and that gave people a reason to theorize as to what happen and have fun in other ways)
It would take a real evil genius to hack the NFL’s Twitter account and play a joke on Roger Goodell pic.twitter.com/7cf3EipRrF

Hey @nfl sounds like you need a better identity service.
— Matt (@mizzlefries) June 7, 2016
The fact that the NFL was hacked is not stunning. But 565 people liked the Tweet of Goodell's death...That seems harsh.
