There are some seriously upset Oklahoma fans right now.
It’s no secret that Oklahoma president David Boren would like the Big 12 to expand. Texas appears to be against expansion, and that doesn’t make Sooners fans happy.
The latest grievance was the Big 12’s decision Wednesday to not overturn a rule that prevents walk-on transfers from losing year of eligibility. That meant Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield was denied a chance to play in 2017.
ESPN reported Thursday that the league is reconsidering that decision. That may or may not appease OU fans, many of whom wanted out of the Big 12.
