Finnegan was at the Dr Pepper Awards Dinner in Dallas. That’s the Texas Rangers’ annual awards gala.

The 2014 Texas Professional Player of the Year Award was a fitting award for Finnegan.

He attended Southwest High School in Fort Worth and later went to TCU before being drafted last June by the Royals.

As you certainly remember, Finnegan was the first person ever to appear in the College World Series and the World Series in the same year.
