From the perspective of a Royals fan, there may be no more reviled person on Twitter than Jason La Canfora.
He covers the NFL for CBS and CBSSports.com, and he’s an Orioles fan. Since the 2014 American League Championship Series, his dislike for the Royals is legendary.
For example, La Canfora tweeted this Thursday:
"@richardjustice: Royals have lost 11 of 15 with starting rotation rolling up a 6.97 ERA." - can't stay as lucky as they've been forever

But there was a time when La Canfora was happy for the Royals. Seriously. I have proof:
Spunky bunch of KC Royals here. Good for them. Awesome to see franchises like the Royals, O's and Pirates - so good for so long- back in Oct

It seems the source of his ire is two-fold. First, the Royals crushed his Orioles in the 2014 ALCS. Second, then-Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie wore a “These O’s Ain’t Loyal” T-shirt during that series, which prompted an apology from Guthrie.
That also upset actor Josh Charles, who went on a long Twitter rant. La Canfora ripped Guthrie:
@MrJoshCharles @SBNation this clown ended up with the Royals because no team that paid real money wanted him. Let's remember that

Here are some of his other random tweets about the Royals since then, and they show the Royals are his least-favorite team.
Like anyone needed another reason to despise the Royals. Bush league. Toughest part is figuring out which guy most worthy of drilling Sat...

Any chance the Royals bring Ventura out of the pen to throw at Rasmus next time he's up? I mean, why stop the bushleague crap now?

love to see the Royals can't catch the ball or hit a cut-off man or handle an elementary rundown. Good baseball

@masnRoch royals fans will probably write-in some double-A quasi prospect to keep him out

Figured the Royals would stink today after celebrating that big win last night like a world series. Too much champagne I guess
