White Sox third baseman Todd Frazier leaves game after diving face-first into stands
Fans love players who give the extra effort and dive into the stands to make a catch (think: Alex Gordon).
Unfortunately for Chicago White Sox third baseman Todd Frazier, he showed the perils of such a play during Wednesday afternoon’s game against the Rangers in Arlington, Texas.

This is the early update on what happened to Frazier. Here’s hoping that he only has a cut lip.

UPDATE: It sounds like Frazier is going to be OK.
Todd Frazier suffered a laceration to his lower lip that required five stitches. He's day to day.
