Watch all three of Lorenzo Cain’s home runs against the Yankees
The only thing missing was the victory.
Royals center fielder Lorenzo Cain put on quite a show Tuesday night against the Yankees, clubbing three home runs in a 10-7 loss.
All three were impressive for different reasons.
1. This was his first opposite field home run of his career:
2. This home run was a monster shot that traveled 445 feet and it got the Statcast treatment. He crushed that shot:
3. This was the first run Yankees relief pitcher Andrew Miller has allowed this season. It was also the first time Miller served up a game-tying home run at Yankee Stadium while he’s been with New York.
