Alex Gordon’s catch against Angels is broken down by Statcast

Perhaps no quote is more fitting for baseball than this (which you may remember from The Big Lebowski):

“Sometime you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you.”

Things didn’t work out for the Royals as the Angels had the big inning (a five-run fifth) and won 9-4. But you should not be surprised to hear that Alex Gordon made another great catch. This came in the second inning as he robbed Albert Pujos, and it got the Statcast treatment:

It was the second time in a week that Statcast put measurements on a wonderful grab by Gordon. There was this one against the Tigers on Thursday.
