Former KU golfer Gary Woodland took off pants for a shot Sunday
Golfers often speak of the grand traditions of the game.
The courses that have been around for centuries, the sportsmanship that players will show when they call a penalty on themselves and that sort of thing.
At times, however, there are silly moments.
Case in point: During Sunday’s final round of the Honda Classic, former KU golfer Gary Woodland hit a shot on the edge of a water hazard. To get in the right spot, Woodland had to get into the water.
So he took off his pants. And took the shot in his underwear.
This made Woodland an instant hero.
Lol- I've never thought golf was boring. This is too funny. Way to do work bud. #garywoodland https://t.co/RKbFQ7B3mc
