Mets fan crashes the Royals’ World Series trophy tour
The Royals’ World Series trophy tour is expected to stop in Cameron, Mo., on Thursday night on day four of the journey through four states in 20 days.
On Wednesday morning, there was a stop in Grand Island, Neb., and it seems a Mets fan took the opportunity to get a glimpse of the trophy his team nearly won.*
*Well, the Mets fell three games short of the requisite four wins, so they really weren’t that close
The Royals didn’t seem to mind seeing the fan. In fact, they posted a picture of him on Instagram:
I can’t blame the guy for showing up.
