Royals license plates to be available to Missouri residents

Yeah, they’ll meet this quota.

The Royals announced Tuesday that fans in Missouri will be able to get personalized license plates with the Royals logo.

Here’s the catch: production won’t start unless 100 people complete the application process. The requirements: your vehicle must be registered in Missouri (duh) and you must make an annual contribution of $35 to Royals Charities (per vehicle).

I’m just going to go out on a limb here and say they’ll get to 100.

You can get the plate personalized. To see if a particular plate is available, call the Missouri Department of Revenue at 573-751-4509 or send e-mail to mvbmail@dor.mo.gov.
