Chiefs players take to social media to acknowledge fans, playoff run

The Chiefs players didn’t sulk after a 27-20 loss to New England in Saturday’s AFC Divisional playoff game.

A number of them took to social media and acknowledged the hurt and how much they appreciated the support of the fans. Here is a sampling:

Fans of the Chiefs also took time to thank the team after the game.

The Chiefs battled all season long, winning 11 games in a row before falling 27-20 at New England in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. They took the loss hard but are optimistic about the future.
