Monmouth bench recreated ‘The Creation of Adam’ during win over Georgetown
The Monmouth men’s basketball team beat Georgetown 83-68 on Tuesday night, continuing a string of big victories.
The Hawks also have knocked off Southern California (83-73), Notre Dame (70-68) and UCLS (84-81 in overtime). But here’s the thing you may already know: it’s all secondary to what the Monmouth bench has achieved.
Game after game, the players on the bench are setting the bar for in-game entertainment. For example, on Tuesday night, the guys recreated Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam.” You know, it’s the painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
