Sporting KC fans surprised, saddened by news of Callum Williams’ departure
The Star broke the news Wednesday that Callum Williams would not be returning as the play-by-play announcer for Sporting Kansas City in 2015.
That brought on a wave of surprise and shock from Sporting KC fans, and Williams took note. Williams tweeted his thanks:
Overwhelmed. Words cant describe the gratitude I have. Thanks for all the kind words guys. KC will always have a special place in my heart.
