The San Francisco Giants bought pizza for the Royals’ front office
The king is dead. Long live the king.
There’s a new World Series champion, but the old one did something pretty cool on Monday. In what had to be an enormously hectic day, the San Francisco Giants bought pizza for the Royals’ front office staff.

— San Francisco Giants (@SFGiants) November 2, 2015“The San Francisco Giants just called — and they want to send 25 pizzas to Kauffman Stadium for the Royals and their staff,” Kenny Kantner, manager/partner at Minsky’s at 51st and Main said on Minsky’s web site. “It was a pretty exciting moment — especially when the Giants wanted to include this note: ‘Have fun planning the parade — and enjoy the ride!’ ”
Apparently, the Red Sox started the tradition a year ago.
The Giants front office sent pizzas to the Royals front office today. Trend started with Red Sox last year. Cool. https://t.co/CKa12duSrX
