There is no dispute: The Chiefs are No. 1.

They are the NFL team with the highest percentage of players with facial hair, according to research done by West Coast Shaving, which specializes in luxury grooming needs.

This being No-Shave November, it seemed a good time to note that 98.39 percent of Chiefs players had some sort of facial hair when the research began.

When the final NFL rosters were set, West Coast Shaving examined roster photos on ESPN.com and determined which players fell into a number of categories based on their grooming.

That includes beards (Chiefs players had the fifth-most), mustaches, goatees and more. They also looked at hair: dreadlocks, short, medium and long hair.

Here is the breakdown of all that as part of the “Gridiron Grooming,” plus a look at how well Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler, Tom Brady and other quarterbacks performed when they had facial hair and when they didn’t.
