Odell Beckham Jr.’s stunning catch is the top Vine highlight in NFL on Sunday
It was another fun weekend in the NFL, although it could have been better if the Dolphins would have held on against the Broncos, right?
As usual, there was no shortage of great plays. Let’s start with Odell Beckham Jr.’s one-handed touchdown grab against Dallas. Here it is from Rob Perez’s Vine:
There was universal agreement that it was an amazing grab:
That's the best catch I've ever seen
— Victor Cruz (@TeamVic) November 24, 2014Wow that was crazy !!
— Mike Trout (@Trouty20) November 24, 2014Ummmmm...Wow!! Odell Beckham Jr. With the one hander! #DALvsNYG
— Bryce Harper (@Bharper3407) November 24, 2014And this was a funny response:
Congrats, Odell. But what's the big deal? pic.twitter.com/onJcrzn6T9
— Sam Ponder (@sam_ponder) November 24, 2014Earlier in the day, Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton scored a touchdown and then gently rocked the ball as he paid tribute to his daughter Eugenia, who was born just hours before the game. Here is the Vine from ssfball:
One unmemorable moment came while the Lions were getting thrashed by the Patriots. Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford took off on a fourth-and-10 play and started his slide just shy of the first-down markers. Whoops.
This is from Ben Celestino’s Vine:
While Denver didn’t lose Sunday, it’s clear the Broncos aren’t shy about turning on each other. After Brandon McManus missed a 33-yard field goal, Manny Ramirez and Demaryius Thomas didn’t try to hide their frustration.
This is from Chris Sembower’s Vine:
The Bears’ Chris Conte made a nice interception against the Buccaneers. This is from Matthew Schwera’s Vine:
Finally, here is the anti-Beckham catch, one that was any NFL player could make. It was in the Packers-Vikings game and is from Peyton’s Head Vine:
