Michael Sam snags GQ cover, might get offer from Vince Neil’s arena football team
The last we heard of former Missouri football star Michael Sam, he was quietly cut by the Dallas Cowboys from their practice squad last month.
Sam’s days in pro football may not be over as the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the Las Vegas Outlaws of the Arena Football League was going to make Sam an offer to join the team.
The Outlaws are owned by Vince Neil, the lead singer for Mötley Crüe.
It’s difficult to imagine that Sam would accept that invitation, but Sam should be in good spirits these days, because he is one of the cover subjects for the new issue of GQ.
