Watch: Astros bullpen catcher plays catch with kids at Kauffman Stadium

Geez, the Astros really are trying to be the new version of the 2014 Royals.

This has been a story line before and during the playoffs, and well, we got another example of it Friday.

You may recall that Orioles fans said last year that they had a hard time disliking the Royals during the American League Championship Series. That’s because Royals pitcher Scott Downs played catch with Royals fans at Camden Yards.

Houston bullpen catcher Javier Bracamonte has done the same thing during the first two games of the American League Division Series at Kauffman Stadium. Take a look:
