Former Chief Mike Vrabel says his Super Bowl rings were stolen
Former Chiefs linebacker Mike Vrabel won three Super Bowls while a member of the New England Patriots.
But he doesn’t have any of his rings from Super Bowl XXXVI, XXXVIII and XXXIX.
Vrabel, who is now a linebackers coach with the Houston Texans, tweeted today: “To all the Houston area pawn shops: 3 super bowl rings are headed your way.”
I’d run the entire tweet, but Vrabel used a not-so-nice word to describe the person or people who helped them to his rings.
But here is his wife’s tweet:
Thanks to the thugs who busted out our back glass door while we were at our sons bball game this am and took @CoachVrabel50 SB RINGS #class
— jen (@JenVrabel1) November 8, 2014Jen Vrabel also noted that the crooks will have a difficult time selling the rings:
@gillam75 @CoachVrabel50 considering they have his name & number engraved, I hope they do try.

According to ESPN, the Bellaire, Texas, police department said the burglary took place around 11 a.m. Saturday.
