Study finds Chiefs fans are the most optimistic in the NFL

Are you ready for some football?

According to a Facebook study, the answer for Chiefs fans is yes.

Facebook did NFL sentiment research and found that Chiefs fans are the most optimistic of any fanbase in the league.

In a blog post, Facebook Data Editor Robert D’Onofrio wrote, “We took a look at all Facebook posts and comments NFL fans made during the preseason (July 22 – September 7) about the teams they Like on Facebook, and classified them according to how positive or negative they were. This enabled us to compare and rank all 32 NFL teams by how positive the overall conversation among each fan base was during the preseason, as well as look more closely at trends over time for specific teams.”

Facebook calls this “sentiment data.”
