Here is the play that angered Jarrod Dyson in 10th inning of Wednesday’s game
The Royals nearly won Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Twins in the 10th inning.
With runners on the corners and one out, Lorenzo Cain hit a ball that pitcher Blaine Bowyer snagged. His throw to the plate was non-chalant and forced catcher Kurt Suzuki to grab the ball on the third-base line.
Jarrod Dyson sped home and into Suzuki, who tagged Dyson. Dyson and the Royals argued that Dyson didn’t have a path to the plate, but replay upheld that Suzuki had no choice when grabbing the throw.
