For Pete's Sake

Minnesota releases version of ‘Frogger’ ahead of game against TCU

This is the best thing to come from the University of Minnesota since Ryan Lefebvre.

Ahead of the Gophers’ football game Thursday against TCU, Minnesota has come up with its version of Frogger. Get it? The Gophers are playing the Horned Frogs and the gamer is Frogger.

Then again, if you’re younger than 40, you may have no idea what Frogger is. The old videogame required a player to navigate a frog over a busy road and a river to its home.

In this case, you’ve got to get Goldy the Gopher to the end zone five times to win.

You can play the game by clicking here (you’ll need a keyboard). And, yes, the graphics are decidedly retro.
