- Royals restore Value Menu at eight Kauffman Stadium concession locations.
- Value Menu items include $5 Miller Lite, $4 hot dog, $3 Coke, peanuts, popcorn.
- Club aims to broaden access and improve fan experience across seating areas.
The Royals are opening the 2026 season on the road, playing the Braves on Friday in Atlanta.
That’s not ideal, but the Royals will play their home opener Monday against the Minnesota Twins. And Cullen Maxey, the Royals’ president of business operations, really likes the team’s schedule from a holiday perspective.
“If you haven’t really taken a good look at the schedule, we were home for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, and we are celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country,” Maxey said earlier this year. “And we’ll be here on a Saturday against the Phillies. I don’t know if it gets more patriotic than that or not, but we’re going to have some fun with that.”
Maxey bragged on the Royals a bit, saying that surveys with season-ticket holders have rated the Kauffman Stadium experience at least a 9 out of 10 over the last two years.
An MLB survey of fans who attend games shows the Royals are ranked second, Maxey added.
Value Menu locations
Maxey said a good fan experience is only part of the equation for the Royals. That’s why a fan favorite feature is returning this season: the Value Menu.
“Just as important is making sure that we are inviting fans of all economic levels to be able to come and experience Royals baseball,” Maxey said. “So we’re going to continue the value menus. We’re going to be at eight locations this year. Value Menu means you can grab a Miller Lite for $5, a hot dog for $4, Cokes and peanuts and popcorn for $3. So no matter where you’re sitting, you’re gonna have close access to that.”
The Royals said the locations of the Value Menu are at Crown Classics concession stands in sections 213, 242, and 405, or the Hot Corner Grill at section 120, 135, 201, 417, and 422.”
