For Pete's Sake

Here is how to watch the 2026 World Cup games being played in Kansas City on TV

It’s still roughly 4 1/2 months until the first 2026 World Cup match will be played in Kansas City, but that opener is a hot ticket.

A quick search of one secondary ticket market shows the cost to attend the June 16 match between Argentina and Algeria will cost between $672 and $6,628 at one site.

Another shows the range for a ticket was between $707 and $12,858. The good news is that includes fees.

The better news is there’s still time for the prices to decline. Best of all: Each of the games to be played at Kansas City Stadium (you won’t hear it called Arrowhead Stadium) will air on television.

Here’s how to watch those games.

June 16: Argentina vs Algeria in Group J match, 8 p.m. on Fox 4

June 20: Ecuador vs Curaçao in Group E match, 7 p.m. on FS1

June 25: Netherlands vs. Tunisia in Group F match, 6 p.m. on Fox 4

June 27: Algeria vs. Austria in Group J match, 9 p.m. on FS1

July 3: Round of 32 match, 8:30 p.m. on Fox 4

July 11: Quarterfinal match, 8 p.m. on Fox 4

Other games of note

The first game of the World Cup will feature Mexico playing South Africa on June 11. It’ll start at 2 p.m. in Mexico City and air on Fox 4.

The championship match is July 19 at 2 p.m. in East Rutherford, N.J. It also will be broadcast on Fox 4.
