For Pete's Sake

Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s Tight End University planning party at Super Bowl LX

Each year, the Super Bowl is the culmination of a weeklong celebration of football.

In the on-site leadup to the game, the players meet with the media nearly daily, while fans take in the sights and attend a party or three.

There is never a shortage of parties in the city where the Super Bowl is being held, and this year is no different.

In fact, Tight End University, which was co-founded by Chiefs star Travis Kelce, will be partnering with Sports Illustrated for a bash in San Francisco.

It’s called Tight Ends & Friends, and it will be held Thursday, Feb. 5 at 9 p.m. at Public Works. Organizers said tickets will start at $85 in honor of 49ers star tight end George Kittle, who wears jersey No. 85.

According to a news release, “Guests can expect interactive games and activations, turf-inspired buildouts, and a high-impact soundtrack blending local DJs with national talent, culminating in a headline performance by Loud Luxury, with Frank Walker opening the night.”

However, event organizers have not confirmed that Kelce will be at the party.

Tight End University was founded by Kelce, Kittle and Greg Olsen in 2021. NFL tight ends gather in Nashville for coaching sessions from the three. And last year they got an impromptu show from Kelce’s fiancé, Taylor Swift.
