Man shows off treasure trove of Travis Kelce items from storage unit he bought

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been incredibly busy the past few years.

There have been the Super Bowl appearances and a burgeoning acting career for Kelce, who also jetted around the globe to see fiancée Taylor Swift’s concerts.

Perhaps that explains why Kelce apparently forgot to pay for a storage unit he was renting.

A TikTok user named lumpsterfire_vulture has shared a number of videos that he says are from an abandoned storage unit he purchased. Inside there was a treasure trove of Travis Kelce items.

Some are helmets signed by other NFL players, but there also are a lot of clothes, suits and shoes, including what appears to be a pair of Christian Louboutins.

A box in the unit bears a tag with Kelce’s name and at least one suit has his name inside. The biggest clue that the items actually belong to Kelce: a Broncos helmet signed by Von Miller with a message for Kelce.

“I bought this storage unit, and somebody very famous has stuff in here, somebody that I really look up to, somebody that I admire,” the man says in the first video. “Anyway, I’m really excited, trying to hold back the excitement.”

At one point, the man shows off a pair of pink sneakers.

“I think I saw him wearing those, maybe in the ‘Catching Kelce’ series, which all this stuff seems to be from that same era,” he says. “Which makes me wonder, how did he lose track of this? Did his people just not pay the bill? Did they lose track of it? Did he lose track of it? I don’t know the whole story yet, but I’ll try to find out.”

Auction site selling items

Some of the items appear to be available on the Heritage Auction website. That site says the Kelce clothes were from “a storage find,” although it’s not clear if it is the same one as the man who bought the unit that prompted his videos.

Here’s a description of one suite: “Powder blue and pink windowpane double-breasted suit includes jacket and pants, with interior lining of jacket embroidered with a large number ‘87 and affixed with a tag reading, ‘Custom Designed, Travis Kelce.’”

There are other suits, shoes (including the Christian Louboutins), dress shirts and a watch that are part of the auction. Heritage Auction said it had 24 lots of Kelce items in all.

“It’s rare that people get something this good,” Heritage’s Mike Provenzale said. “It’s rare that there is anything of actual value in them (storage units).”

Some commenters on TikTok thought the man should give the items back to Kelce.

“He was given the opportunity to buy it back,” he wrote in a comment to another person. “But the offer I was given told me this stuff wasn’t very important to him.”

Take a look at what the man found.
