The Royals on Monday made their 2025 team award winners available for interviews on Zoom, and a couple of players looked different.

Bobby Witt Jr., who won the Les Milgram Player of the Year award, had cut back his mullet. But Witt promised it would return in time for next season.

And third baseman Maikel Garcia, the Joe Burke Special Achievement Award winner, said he’d be back to his usual hairstyle, too, after showing off his ... pink hair.

“I did it, like, five days ago. I was practicing with Tiburones (de La Guaira, a Venezuelan team), and I decided to do something in my hair,” Garcia said.

It doesn’t sound like Garcia, who won his first Gold Glove award last week, put a lot of thought into choosing a pink hairdo.

“Just trying to do something different,” Garcia said. “And I mean, I like this style and fashion, everything, like just trying to do something different.”

Wouldn’t it be fun to see Garcia keep the look next season?
