Watch the best hot dog race in Kauffman Stadium history
Fans at Kauffman Stadium were treated to an exciting competition on Sunday.
Yeah, sure, the Royals beat the Angels 4-3 in 10 innings on a walk-off hit by Kendrys Morales in a game that was televised by ESPN, but fans and media members were wound-up about something else:
Man, I hope they show the condiment race on TV. That was gold.
— Andy McCullough (@McCulloughStar) August 17, 2015BEST. HOT DOG DERBY. EVER.

— Jimmy Faseler (@jimmyfaseler) August 17, 2015 It was epic and Lance Huebner caught the entire race:
Most exciting and funny hot dog race ever. #Royals pic.twitter.com/RiuKtjXgxK
— lancehuebner (@missourihawkeye) August 17, 2015Heck of an effort by Ketchup, who likely was the first to finish a race without a costume.
MLB.com has the video of the play you saw above and you can watch it here.
