You may have missed it during the Chiefs’ 28-7 win over Washington on Monday, but they gained 119 yards on one of their scoring drives.

That may sound like fuzzy math, but the Chiefs were penalized 25 yards on the drive, which officially covered 94 yards.

It was one of three touchdown drives the Chiefs had in the second half, and the offensive success was a hot topic on ESPN’s “ManningCast.”

Rams wide receiver Davante Adams was a guest at the time, and he had an intriguing and funny theory about the Chiefs offense.

“I’m not even sure they run real plays sometimes,” Adams said. “Sometimes they get out there and just get open, and he (quarterback Patrick Mahomes) just starts finding people. I gotta ask somebody that. I’ve been meaning to ask one of the receivers over there, like, ‘Do y’all actually call plays in the huddle, or is it just like scrambling, and I’ll find somebody and do some crazy stuff.’”
