Donna Kelce dined at two iconic — yet very different — restaurants while in KC
Donna Kelce knows she has a standing reservation at 1587 Prime, the restaurant founded by her son, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
But with so many great dining options in Kansas City, she also likes to eat at other establishments when in KC.
You may recall, Kelce last fall recommended Hemma Hemma in Waldo for people who want brunch, and she specifically mentioned the cinnamon rolls.
Over the weekend, Kelce shared another of her favorite places: Lidia’s Kansas City. The Kansas City Crossroads said Lidia’s was “voted Kansas City’s most popular Italian restaurant by Zagat Guide the last 5 years.”
Here is a photo Kelce shared to her Instagram stories, and she wrote: “Always enchanting at Lidias in Kansas City.”
Kelce joined family members at another iconic restaurant: Joe’s Kansas City. And they went to the original location in the gas station in Kansas City, Kansas.
“Always need to visit Joe’s when I’m in Kansas City,” she wrote on Instagram.
The ambience is quite a bit different at Joe’s than Lidia’s.
And it looks like they picked a good time to visit, because there wasn’t a long line in the photo that was shared on social media.
That’s two great, yet very different, places for a meal in Kansas City.
